All our consulting work is problem focused. We deal with real and critical problems that senior managers and executive teams face. Typical problems that we work on include: - Managers – managers who don’t manage or don’t add value, managers who struggle to delegate and micromanage, or there is confusion between supervision and management; - Accountability – no one is sure who is accountable for what, or there is unhealthy tension between different parts of the organisation e.g. head office and business units; - Decision-making – no one is making decisions, there are endless meetings and senior leaders spend all their time fire fighting; - Overcrowding – there are too many management layers, the organisation is too bureaucratic and costs out of control; - Organisational change – roles and structure don’t reflect the new organisation; - Technical/professional experts – frustrated about the lack of recognition and limited career options; - Career development – employees frustrated about the lack of clarity on career development; - Grading systems – in disrepair, there is inequality across disciplines, there are different systems in different countries making it difficult to move employees; - Recruiting – poor hiring decisions or the expectations of roles are not clear.
