Workforce Skills Support is a UK construction training and workforce competence provider, specialising in construction while supporting employers across construction and allied industries nationwide. We help employers take a proactive approach to workforce competence - moving beyond reactive training bookings to understand what their people need now, what may be changing, and what will be required for future roles, projects, and contracts. Our approach follows five key stages: 1 Review Review workforce roles, existing qualifications and cards, upcoming expiries, skills gaps, new starters, changing responsibilities and future requirements through our Workforce Competence Reviews. 2 Qualify Support experienced workers to achieve the competence-based qualifications relevant to their work, including construction NVQs from Level 2 to Level 7 across trades, plant operations, specialist occupations, supervision, and management. 3 Card Support employers and individuals with appropriate CSCS, CPCS and NPORS card routes, including understanding the qualifications, tests and competence requirements for different occupations. 4 Train Provide construction health & safety, plant and workforce training to address identified skills and knowledge requirements, from individual courses to wider workforce programmes. 5 Maintain Help employers maintain workforce competence by staying ahead of renewals, expiries, workforce changes and future requirements through ongoing reviews and forward training planning. As a CITB Training Provider Network member, we help eligible employers understand and maximise available CITB grants and funding, and ensure workforce development plans consider both competence requirements and available financial support. Whether you need a single qualification or a broader workforce competence programme, we help employers build and maintain a safe, skilled workforce. Review. Qualify. Card. Train. Maintain.
