Workforce Development Services Information

WDS, Inc. operates four WorkOne service centers in conjunction with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD) to provide employment, education, and training services for workers, students, and employers in Northwest Indiana. The Gary and Hammond offices are full service WorkOne Centers, which include the Job Service and Unemployment Insurance programs, an Information Resource Area (IRA), Discovery LabTM, and access to a wide range of program services through direct personal contact, the internet, and/or referral. WorkOne centers located in East Chicago and Crown Point are classified as WorkOne Express Centers that provide all services except Unemployment Insurance.
