Founded in 2016, WORK-FLOW has evolved from a small collection of products into an integrated platform of education, resources, assessment, and tools for the flow cytometry community. 2018 — OfX A universal sheath fluid for research analyzers, validated for hydrodynamic and acoustic focusing flow cytometers, as well as high-throughput samplers and multiplexers. 2019 — FlowEssentials A brand-neutral eLearning course using subtitled micro-content and simulations to provide foundational knowledge, refresh advanced users, and prepare users for instrument training. 2019 — FlowPublic Originally launched as the “ToolBox,” FlowPublic became a free repository of validated technical resources, bringing scripts, applications, instructions, references, and other specialty tools together in one place. 2020 — FlowHub Created to support continuing education, FlowHub centralized resources and information to help users navigate flow cytometry from experimental design through publication. 2020–2021 — FlowTech An expanding series of advanced eCourses focused on technologies and techniques such as cell sorting, full-spectrum flow cytometry, and panel optimization. 2023–2025 — FlowEval A two-year project resulting in a comprehensive assessment platform with more than 1,000 questions covering flow cytometry principles and practice. 2025 — FlowAssays An application-focused education connecting flow cytometry concepts with practical experimental workflows. 2026 — Laboratory Optimization Tools WORK-FLOW expanded into laboratory operations with FlowMetrics, FlowFix, and FlowOps, purpose-built tools for monitoring instrument performance, improving service management, and tracking projects. As the journey continues, the goal remains the same: empowering people to work smarter and generate better data.
