Mark's first design assignment, under the Nolan Miller label, was for the hit television show "Dynasty". Mark's designs received an Emmy nomination for Nolan Miller. Once Miller received the award, he promised it to Mark, saying "This is for you, kid. You did the work." This has been one of Mark's most cherished possessions, representing the beginning of his career.
