Wool Pots are award-winning sustainable plant pots that offer an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic plant pots. 500 million plastic plant pots end up in UK landfill each year, and it can take up to 450 years for them to break down. Wool Pots are made from 100% British wool that might otherwise go to waste, our pots transform a natural by-product into a high-performance growing solution. Designed with both plants and the planet in mind, Wool Pots deliver a range of benefits - • Improves plant growth – stronger & healthier plants • Naturally deters slugs and snails • Excellent insulation and water retention, reducing water use by 20–30% • Fully biodegradable - breaking down in soil while releasing valuable nutrients • Strong, durable, and easy to handle • Supports British Farmers • No plastic, no waste Our mission is simple - support farmers, reduce the growing surplus of unused wool and reduce the amount of plastic plant pots in horticulture. Proudly made using British wool and members of the Campaign for Wool, supporting a global movement towards more sustainable, natural materials.
