Started in 1949 with one small sawmill – today we employ over 6500 crew members and are one of the largest U.S. lumber producers. SPI owns and sustainably manages over 2.4 million acres of timberland in California, Oregon and Washington. We are growing forests for our future, planting over 10 million new trees every year. Our advanced manufacturing processes allow us to utilize nearly 100% of every piece of wood we bring to our mills. We produce lumber, millwork, and landscaping material.
