The Wooden Boatshop occupies 2½ acres in the historic Victorian settlement of Sorrento on Port Phillip Bay, Australia. We've evolved from a purpose built facility for Couta Boat construction to a facility for wooden boat design, sailboat/yacht design, shipwrights, boat covers, restoration, maintenance. We also provide marine services such as boat slipping, storage, Yanmar marine diesel engine service, vinyl sign writing, marine rigging and stainless steel engineering. We are experts in building & restoring timber boats. We offer second-hand wooden & Couta Boats for sale. We have a full chandlery with bronze boat fittings & caulking tools. We also design and manufacture wooden flagpoles & provide nautical flags.
