WONDERKIDS provides quality childcare to families who have children from six weeks old to six years of age. Our professional staff has been chosen for each age group with the permanent assistance of a registered nurse. WonderKids incorporates the RIELS (Rhode Island Early Learning Standards) into each well thought out daily lesson plan which in turn corresponds to the weekly and monthly learning themes. Using these RIELS provides guidance to families on what children should be able to do as they enter each phase of their development through Kindergarten, They are inclusive of all children by recognizing that children may meet the Early Learning Standards at different times and in different ways. The Rhode Island Early Learning standards are divided into nine domains:1. Cognitive Development2. Mathematics3. Science4. Social Studies5. Creative Arts6. Physical Health & Motor Development7. Social & Emotional Development8. Language Development & Communication9. LiteracyWe at WonderKids incorporate these Early Learning Standards to assist in the successful future development of your child's growth by giving them a well rounded curriculum starting in Infancy and carrying that into every stage of development through Kindergarten and then beyond! These activities will be carried out through the following programs:Infant ProgramInfant.JPGA loving and caring yet stimulating environment. A one to three caregiver / infant ratio is maintained. This will help the infant to enjoy a sense of security in the bonding process. Each infant schedule will be maintained and recorded on a daily basis for proper care. Again, the goal of WONDERKIDS is to provide a loving, caring and stimulating environment for quality infant care.
