Women@Austin was founded in 2014 by serial entrepreneur Jan Ryan after several of Austin's most experienced women entrepreneurs and executives came together to proactively support women founders. Their goal was to make Austin the most accessible and empowering place for women-led companies in the country. In 2018, Women@Austin joined Notley's social impact ecosystem. Notley is a social impact investment company catalyzing organizations, businesses and ideas to grow and expand. With the help of Notley's team and full-time resources, Women@Austin can scale by providing women entrepreneurs access to knowledge, collaboration, and capital so they may fulfill their greatest professional aspirations.
