Women & Wine on Wednesdays Information

Women & Wine on Wednesdays™ is a monthly networking event for the purpose of connecting women, for building new relationships and for re-connecting old ones, through a unique facilitated forum. It is the ideal on-going opportunity for women who are striving to balance their own needs with those of their family, their jobs, and community involvement, as well as maintain their own personal overall well-being. It fulfills an ongoing and critical need for women as they transition through the many stages of their lives, and also provides access to a larger network of both business and social resources, for the growth and development of their professional and personal lives. Women from all different walks of life find benefits from Women & Wine on Wednesdays. For centuries, wine has proven to liven the senses, cause thoughts to flow, and enhance friendly exchanges. Women & Wine on Wednesdays was created by Linda Brewster Meffert in 2005 in New Orleans, after searching for a way to carve time out of her busy family life and career to re-connect with friends, both old and new. Linda incorporated the most applicable aspects of the management tools she’d developed over her 16-years in entrepreneurial management into one unified concept that directly achieved her goal to improve her lifestyle balance. Mutual friend, Sandra Lombana, introduced Christy Hackenberg and Gaby Tillero to Linda and the four women founded the New Orleans location in 2005. The branding and design was created in 2005 by Christy and Gaby as a way to showcase their newly formed graphic design firm, Creative Zumo.
