Woman’s Trust is a specialist mental health charity that provides confidential, free, trauma-informed counselling and group therapy for women who have experienced domestic abuse. Since 1996 we have helped over 18,500 women in their recovery from domestic abuse; delivered more than 40,000 counselling sessions; and provided the equivalent of over £4.5 million in free mental health care. Established in 1996, Woman’s Trust was formed by a group of domestic abuse survivors, counsellors and women to address the absence of specialist mental health services available to this client group. Through our trained and qualified staff, we offer a range of confidential, specialist services designed specifically to support women who have experienced domestic abuse: person-centred counselling, self-development workshops and peer support groups.
