SeniorLAW Center's mission is to improve the lives of older Pennsylvanians and protect their rights through legal representation, education and advocacy. We help save homes, strengthen families, fight domestic violence and abuse, and promote economic security. Our core values are excellence, compassion, respect, integrity, creativity, passion and optimism. Through the energies of our legal staff and corps of volunteer attorneys, SeniorLAW Center provides essential legal, outreach, advocacy and educational services, having a dramatic impact on the lives of elders and their families in the Philadelphia area and throughout the state. Our work enables elders in our communities, our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, our elderly neighbors, colleagues, and friends, to remain in their homes and communities, live free from abuse, maintain their independence, and improve the safety and economic security in their lives.
All of SeniorLAW Center’s services for low-income seniors are free. SeniorLAW Center serves over 7,000 seniors each year throughout Philadelphia and, through its statewide SeniorLAW HelpLine, the entire Commonwealth. SeniorLAW Center has established a multitude of innovative programs to address the critical legal needs of low-income and vulnerable seniors, including victims of domestic violence, older tenants and homeowners, victims of financial exploitation and consumer fraud, grandparents raising grandchildren, the homebound and disabled, Asian, Latino and other immigrant elders who have little access to our system of justice. The legal issues facing our clients are increasingly complex and critical: mortgage foreclosure, eviction, and consumer and contractor fraud, shocking forms of financial exploitation, lengthy family law litigation, untangling title issues over generations, domestic violence and sexual assault against older women, health and financial decision-making, identity theft and other economic crimes.
Since 1997, Alexander and Associates in Boise has brought our clients high-quality, boutique services first in traditional advertising, then adding specialties in public relations, social media and Internet advertising and marketing. We specialize in setting up and administering social media presence for our clients. Where most communications professionals seek to automate social media, we bring in the human element. We look for alliances, projects and sponsorships with the people who love your brand. It's the little things and follow-up that add up - if you donate to a cause, for example, we make sure its members write on your wall and Tweet about it. Our work has won industry awards for our clients. We are also highly competent in old-school public relations, regularly landing our clients in favorable stories in print and broadcast media, and we use traditional media publicity to increase your social media presence. We have boosted search engine rankings for our clients through the time-tested and legitimate tactic of telling your story in words, pictures and video.
