The Wild Animal Sanctuary is a 10,473 acre refuge for over 700 Lions, Tigers, Bears, Wolves and other large carnivores that have been rescued from illegal or abusive situations. Most come from law enforcement agencies when they discover people trying to keep one of these exotic animals as a pet in their house, apartment, garage or other terrible place.

The International Wolf Center uses science-based education to teach and inspire the world about wolves, their ecology, and the wolf-human relationship. Our response to controversies as they arise is to provide information that helps people to make their own informed decisions.
