Wolf Creek has been safely providing clean energy to the citizens of Kansas and Missouri since 1985. The plant generates about 1,200 megawatts of electricity, which is enough energy for approximately 800,000 homes. We're staffed with about 1000 employees, making us one of the larger employers in Kansas. Our plant is located in Coffey County, Kansas, just northeast of the town of Burlington. We are about 55 miles south of Topeka, 90 miles southwest of Kansas City and 120 miles northeast of Wichita.
