WOKE Studio is a creative design consultancy that specialises in designing products, digital interfaces and brand strategies that are both innovative and relevant. We transform the raw materials of software and hardware into refined user experiences. The forward rush of progress and modern innovation is a great thing. But equally important is an appreciation for the carefully crafted. WOKE Studio takes all the inherent complexity of the innovation process and blends it with the care and intention of a craft-focused design practice. We believe in the importance of being hands-on: holding things in our hands, feeling their weight, seeing the subtleties that often get lost when constrained to a computer screen. We rapid prototype at different resolutions, from rudimentary to advanced, to understand how the design will exist in physical space. The process is fluid and iterative, we expand out and explore, we test and we narrow, and then we do it again. As we enter the next phases of design, and have settled on an opportunity and concept, we continue to push the design and the constraints of the problem. Through a much tighter iterative process, we are able to tweak the subtleties, the details that make a product sing and an interaction intuitive. Collaborating with clients involves understanding the intricacies of their company and customers at a deep level. Through this research-based approach, we gain a deeper understanding of the different perspectives necessary to design an impactful solution. Even in the manufacturing and production phases, we keep a very hands-on approach. We work with experts whether they are craftsmen or manufacturing engineers: we don’t just inspect their process, but form a collaborative relationship that enables us to push the design and develop a much higher level of refinement and polish.
