Wobby.club Information

Wobby.club is the platform for autonomous illustration in the Netherlands. Wobby originated from a small core group and dynamic network of artists from the South of the Netherlands and Flanders who combine humour and tongue-in-cheek commentary. Wobby uses its know-how to commission new works and to identify currents in contemporary illustration, and consequently crosses the boundaries between fine art, comic, literature, poetry, video, animation, graphic design, and performance. We regularly collaborate with local and regional parties, such as De Pont museum, TextielMuseum, Kunstpodium T, Tilt, De Nachtzuster, Graphic Matters, MAKE Eindhoven, and TAC. Wobby.club is granted multi-annual support from Wobby’s hometown, the Municipality of Tilburg, and the Province of North-Brabant.
