At Without, we are re-imagining waste and poverty here in India, starting with packets of chips. As a proof of concept of our patented recycling technology, we made the world's first recycled sunglasses from packets of chips through. This plastic waste (multi-layered plastic or MLP) is considered "impossible" to recycle, but we have found a way. We have proprietary tech around MLP recycling where we chemically de-metalize it and extract/separate polyolefins (PP+PE) and PET, converting them into consistent, high-quality, more recyclable materials and products while empowering waste-pickers out of multidimensional poverty. All in all, we are a social enterprise focused on increasing the value of waste through deep tech and fairly redistributing that value to stakeholders in the supply chain, especially those that are the poorest: waste-pickers. We are now B Corp certified organization.
