WIOS is a renowned sports club for synchronized swimming. For 35 years, the Heuvelkouter swimming pool at Sportlaan 5 in Liedekerke has been home to WIOS vzw. Artistic swimming is without doubt one of the most demanding water sports and is often popularly called synchro(onswimming) or water ballet.
