Originally from Athens, Dr. Phillip Durden has practiced since 1989. He has achieved Mastership with the Academy of General Dentistry, a five-year education continuum in all phases of general dentistry. Dr. Durden has served as the president of the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry for 2 terms. Dr. Phillip Durden has a special interest in TMJ disorders and oral management of sleep apnea; often related to migraine headaches and daytime drowsiness, the TMJ-Sleep Apnea connection has been an area of practice and study for Dr. Durden for over a decade. Dr. Brandon Whitworth grew up in the Athens area. He earned his B.S. in Biology at Samford University and completed his dental degree at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in Augusta in 2012. His continuing education includes advanced training in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry and Invisalign® clear orthodontics. Dr. Whitworth’s goal is to help patients of all ages enjoy the benefits of proper oral health. He has participated in mission trips in the U.S. and around the world to help patients in difficult situations with their dental needs.
