Wings Over Worry is a nonprofit organization inspired by the life and legacy of Danya Thompson, whose courage, compassion, and generosity continue to guide our mission. Diagnosed with breast cancer, Danya faced every challenge with strength, humor, and an unwavering commitment to lifting others up. Her nine year journey with stage 4 cancer became a testament to community, connection, and hope. Today, Wings Over Worry carries that spirit forward. We support bold, high-impact breast cancer research, create joyful experiences for families navigating illness, and invest in the next generation of leaders and caregivers. Every initiative reflects the values Danya lived by resilience, kindness, creativity, and love. Our mission is simple and powerful: to ease burdens, inspire courage, and make meaningful change for individuals, families, and communities affected by cancer. Through partnership, philanthropy, and purposeful programs, we continue the work Danya started, helping others rise above worry and live with strength and possibility.
