WingDriver Information

WingDriver is an AI driver-safety system that runs on any smartphone. It uses the phone's camera and sensors to watch the driver and the cabin in real time, detecting distraction, fatigue, pre-sleep and sleep, unsafe phone use, speeding and harsh manoeuvres, and alerting the driver in the moment rather than logging the event for review later. Because it is software, WingDriver reaches drivers that fitted hardware never could: subcontracted, leased and gig vehicles, and motorcycles and three-wheelers. There is nothing to buy, install or maintain beyond a phone mount. Deployment is over the air and pricing is per active driver. The product includes an Android and iOS app, behaviour-change coaching with gamified driver rewards, one-press SOS with on-demand in-cabin capture, a per-driver risk dashboard, and an SDK and API for companies that prefer to build it into their own app. It works offline and in the background, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. WingDriver, Inc. was founded in 2021 by André Azevedo and Rui Monteiro after both survived crashes caused by driver fatigue.
