Founded in 2005 by Steven Hope and Phillip Nicklos, Winfrasoft is an independent software vendor building commercially supported infrastructure security and authentication tools for enterprise IT teams, government departments and the NHS. Our products have protected end users across 27 countries, including government, financial services, petro-chemical, telecoms and media organisations. Winfrasoft's current focus is X-Forwarded-For for IIS, rebuilt for Windows Server 2016-2025, which restores the real visitor IP address in IIS logs when web servers sit behind a reverse proxy, load balancer or CDN such as Cloudflare, F5 BIG-IP, AWS or Azure. Winfrasoft's earlier work included security add-ons for Microsoft Forefront TMG and ISA Server, and pattern-based multi-factor authentication (PINgrid), which was spun out as Authlogics and acquired by Intercede Group plc in 2023.
