Pocket PC Software, Windows Mobile Freeware and Pocket PC Freeware download list with occasional news. This site has over 20,000 Windows Mobile software titles to download including Pocket PC freeware, Windows Mobile free themes and free games. This site has been running since 2000, and origionally was started when I got my first ever Compaq iPAQ, having owned a Palm and a Compaq Aero previously. I was looking around for software for it and found there was nowhere that had it all listed in one area, hence ipaqsoft.net was started. As PocketPC's took over and became more popular I renamed the site to pocketpcsoft.net. The main aim of the site is to be the quickest way to find software for PDAs and Pocket PC's, without much graphical overhead. The site was my first ever commercial website and was origionally created in Microsoft frontpage and its small included database. That quickly ran out of steam and now the site is created using PHP and mySQL. As of May 2009 I have over 20,000 software titles listed on this site. In December 2009 I changed the name of this site from pocketpcsoft.net to windowsmobilesoft.net to reflect the current name for the operating system from Microsoft.
