Windmill Practice Information

Windmill Practice was established to provide high quality primary health services to the Tamworth Community in a pleasant, convenient location. The philosophy of the service is driven by the belief that the patient is central to care. Patients will be allocated a "usual GP" and appointments for routine issues will mostly be made with their usual GP. Urgent matters will be dealt with by the available GP. All GPs are fully qualified, experienced GPs who are committed to excellence; select the team tab for an introduction. Windmill Practice works on an appointment system, with 15 minutes allocated for standard appointments. Certain services, such as chronic disease and mental healthcare plans, health assessments, employment and insurance examinations and childhood immunisations require longer appointments. Windmill Practice adopts a team approach to care and a practice nurse will often be in providing care, working in collaboration with the GPs.
