Founded in 2002, Windmar is the largest local renewable energy company with vast experience in renewable energy, both solar and wind. The WindMar Group has designed, built and completed over 35MW of solar energy throughout Puerto Rico, including the islands of Vieques and Culebra, and continues to own and operate most of its projects. WindMars largest clients are Puerto Ricos public utilities, PREPA and PRASA, and Pfizer, the worlds largest pharmaceutical company. In addition to these PPOAs, WindMar has a growing portfolio of commercial and industrial companies looking to benefit from solar energy.
