Electro-Matic Integrated has evolved for over 30 years, offering a wide range of connectivity products to automotive manufacturers and their automation and tooling suppliers.

Our privately held company was founded in 1945 as a custom coil maker for the radio manufacturers clustered around the Chicago area. Today we produce inductors for a long list of customers in telecommunications, computers, instrumentation and consumer electronics. Many are standard, off-the-shelf products. But we also provide custom components designed to meet customers' specific requirements. Our diversity of locations offers several advantages to our customers. Engineering prototypes are shipped in a matter of days. Our domestic plants can quickly provide your pilot run requirements. And then full scale production can be done at an appropriate offshore plant for maximum economy and convenience to your own facilities. Manufacturing capabilities are duplicated at several locations, assuring you a steady supply of components.

Since 1976, Sodick has manufactured over 60,000 EDM machines and over 35,000 linear motor driven EDM machines. Sodick machines are used for the production of dies and molds and other various applications which cannot be produced by standard machining methods. Sodick’s North American headquarters is located in Schaumburg, IL which is conveniently located 20 minutes from Chicago’s O’Hare airport. The headquarters houses a $5 million parts and consumables inventory that ensures consumable and replacement parts are readily available. Customer support is handled by experienced engineers and all support calls are documented and entered into a CRM database resulting in the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
