Its rotating-machines division (Newton Derby), is the leading manufacturer of exciters and permanent magnet machines for the power generation industry. Winder Power serves a wide range of customers in the utilities, renewable energy, and industrial sectors across the UK and internationally. Key clients include SSE plc (SSEN), National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED), Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE), Electricity North West (ENWL), Scottish Power (SPEN), Northern Powergrid (NPg), GE Energy, Drax Power, Ineos Chemicals and Air Products.
