Wilmington Leaders Alliance Information

The Wilmington Leaders Alliance (WLA) is a 501c3 organization founded in 2015 with a mission to “be the catalyst in identifying, engaging and supporting talented leaders in creating a dynamic Wilmington.” The WLA will stimulate change, activity and progress by illuminating important issues, serving as an advocate for change, gathering and disseminating information and best practices, engaging dynamic leaders, leveraging resources and measuring impact The WLA will help shape the future of Wilmington by concentrating on four core areas: Economic Development, Leadership, Education and Safety. Initially the WLA will focus on identifying and cultivating future leaders in business, social sectors and other targeted areas and developing strong infrastructure fundamentals for economic growth – including a highly skilled and entrepreneurial workforce – and a supportive environment so businesses of all sizes, investors and residents can succeed and prosper in the City.
