WILLWOODS COMMUNITY Information

The Willwoods Community was established in 1978 by a group of married couples desiring to support the Catholic Church and the Southeast Louisiana community through prayer and service. Since then, Willwoods has grown to serve different areas, including Affordable Housing, Faith & Marriage, WLAE TV and TheDailyMass.com. With God's grace, we strive to increase the spiritual enrichment opportunities, programs and retreats offered to married couples. We create diverse faith communities where values such as truth, love, respect, compassion and mercy are joyfully embodied. And we aspire to increase the number of our sisters and brothers desiring to prayerfully follow the way of Jesus Christ. The Willwoods Community motto, "Rooted in Prayer, United in Service" reminds us daily to remain open to God's love and mercy as we dedicate ourselves to His service.
