Willowtale uses carefully designed AI to create beautiful, age-appropriate stories that help children make sense of the world around them. Our stories are designed for the moments that matter - whether it's navigating big feelings, starting school, adjusting to change, or simply winding down at bedtime. Parents, carers, and families can select story themes that reflect what a child is going through, with each tale crafted to support their emotional development and spark imagination. Every story is gentle, emotionally attuned, and grounded in storytelling traditions that comfort and inspire. The magic lies not just in the words, but in how they foster growth, connection, and resilience - all tailored to a child’s age and individual needs. We believe stories can help children grow through what they go through. Willowtale was born in a toddler’s bedroom, when those made-up, magical bedtime stories couldn’t be remembered - let alone replicated - weeks later. We turned to AI to capture some of the wonder, but found it lacked warmth, emotional intelligence, and visuals that speak to a child’s world. As a former primary school teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how storytelling and imaginative play can help children process even the most difficult emotions. So why not bring that magic into everyday life? Created by parents, for parents - Willowtale is built on pedagogical insight, powered by AI, and backed by real-world experience in education, psychology, and product design.
