The group In 1996 the company launched the ernestomeda brand, which proposes a particularly sophisticated and finely designed product. LEICHT has developed from a Swabian manufacturer of quality goods into a brand coveted all over the world. The kitchen manufacturer has been able to considerably extend its position both in domestic and international business. The company founded as a carpenter‘s workshop in 1928 by the brothers Alois and Josef Leicht is now leaving its mark on the modern kitchen architecture of the twenty-first century. This increasingly consolidates the position of the architectural brand LEICHT as market leader in the premium segment with, currently, an impressive share of more than 27% (in the price segment over 20,000 euros according to a survey by GfK). A milestone in the company‘s history was the opening of the LEICHT | WELT in October 2014, a kitchen exhibition area covering 1,500 square metres with show kitchen and seminar rooms.
