William Dandy Middle School Information

William Dandy Middle School is a future-focused learning community committed to developing 22nd-century leaders: scholars of law, medicine, and responsible artificial intelligence who honor their roots, pursue excellence without excuse, and lift each other as they climb. Through our distinguished Pre-Law and Pre-Med magnet programs, rigorous instruction, and the ethical use of emerging technology, we prepare every Wildcat to think critically, lead with integrity, and serve their community. This work is supported by dedicated adults who communicate clearly, act consistently, and hold themselves to the same high standards they establish for students. Our motto — Honor the Past. Pursue Excellence. Lift Each Other — is brought to life through three guiding roots: Roots, Rigor, and Respect. We honor the past by standing on the shoulders of the educators, families, and students who built William Dandy Middle School, including our Day 1 Squad and the traditions of our Original Success Days. We pursue excellence through high expectations in every classroom, hallway, data entry, and instructional plan—for students and adults alike. We lift each other through respectful communication, constructive feedback delivered with care, dependable support across every department, and a shared commitment to making wellness a professional priority.
