The Detroit Public Library (DPL) is the largest library system in the state of Michigan. The Main Library and its 23 neighborhood branches make it one of the most valuable and accessible public institutions in metropolitan Detroit.
Currently, the Detroit Public Library consists of a Main Library with 10 subject departments and a number of collections. There are 23 branch libraries, and LOW, a bookmobile service for the community.
Canton Public Library serves more than 90,000 residents of Canton Township, a community in western Wayne County, Michigan. We are a member of The Library Network (TLN) and the Metro Net Library Consortium. The library's director is Eva Davis. We support the pursuit of individual and community goals by ensuring the open exchange of diverse materials and ideas.
