Wild2Free Information

We’re based on the NSW South Coast on acreage within the Mogo State Forest. Our land provides a safe environment to release native animals back into the wild after their rehabilitation. Wild 2 Free is a registered charity and we are volunteers. Most of our funding comes from your donations. We’re an endorsed DGR, donations over $2 are tax deductible. The wildlife at Wild 2 Free consist of both wild born animals, and kangaroos and wallabies and now their offspring, which were originally rescued, rehabilitated and released by Wild 2 Free member Rae Harvey, who is an authorised carer with Wildlife Rescue South Coast Inc. Our property and wildlife sanctuary were destroyed on NYE 2020 during the Black Summer Bushfires. Thanks to the generosity of others, we have been rebuilding. There is more to be done but our dedicated Animal Care Facility completed construction in August 2021. Over time we hope to add more facilities and help more animals in need. Your donations to W2F help pay the costs associated with running a wildlife release site, raising orphaned joeys (cared for by Wildlife Rescue South Coast members Rae Harvey and Annie Carston), and helping non-native animals we come across who require assistance.
