Wild Honey Creamery is the collaboration of Macy Bannert and Sarah Ward in Longview, Tx. These mommas focus on sourcing the best ingredients as close to East Texas as they can get. The result? Some of the freshest, creamiest, melt-in-your-mouth delicious ice cream flavors on the planet. Is that too high of a calling? We dont think so. Try for yourself. Two years ago, Sarah started dreaming of creating a fun ice cream shop in downtown Longview. A space that would be open for all people to enjoy tasty treats, take a break, and connect with one another. After making pounds and pounds of ice cream, delivering it to friends and family on dry ice, and burning up three ice cream freezers, she and her husband, Justin, got a restaurant-grade countertop freezer. Macy has always loved working in a kitchen and meeting people. Over the years shes loved creating unique desserts, especially ice cream. Fast forward to 2019, when Macy commented about wanting to run an ice cream shop on Facebook. Sarah jumped on the opportunity, they connected to trade flavors and recipe secrets. The conversation ended with a why not try it!? Lets do it! From the Summer of 2019 through February of 2020, Wild Honey Creamery sold ice cream from an adorable push cart at community events, on the street in Downtown Longview, at weddings and birthday parties.
