With two Royal Warrants, over 300 years of history and five Masters of Wine, Berry Bros. & Rudd is Britain’s original wine and spirit merchants. With services including a Wine Club, Cellar Plan, Tutored Tastings, Private Wine Events and a Wine School, we provide the closest link between those who make the wine and those who drink it. We offer a selection of over 4,000 bottles to wine and spirit-lovers in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan through our stores, warehouses and outlets, and to people across the world through our award-winning website. While we embrace progress, we also value our traditions. We are still run by members of the Berry and Rudd families and we continue to supply the British Royal Family, as we have done since the reign of King George III. Most importantly, we still believe that everything you should look for in a wine or spirit comes down to one simple question: ‘Is it good to drink?’

It all began in 2009, in a tiny workshop in Hammersmith, London. Our Founders, Sam, Fairfax and Jared had an unwavering belief in things well made - the way they used to be, the way they should be. Their mission was simple - to bring a London Dry Gin of truly uncompromising quality and character back to the city where it first earned its name. Smooth enough for a Martini, bold enough for a G&T, our London Dry Gin is truly something to behold. Every bottle of Sipsmith is hand crafted in genuinely small batches. Every drop of every batch is lovingly laboured over by hand, by our dedicated Distillers. No regimented timings, no automatic cuts, just a craftsman’s flair and a passion for gin well made. We believe this is the only way to craft spirits of this quality. We have since added to our collection a selection of our talented distillers' most delicious experimental gins, all inspired by our London Dry recipe, such as our Lemon Drizzle Gin and Sloe Gin. Each hand crafted gin is lovingly laboured in small batches in our London Distillery – the way it used to be, the way we believe it should be.

Wij geloven in kwaliteit. In de wijn die in het glas zit, daar moeten we enthousiast van worden. Vanuit het glas selecteren wij namelijk de wijn, niet het mooie château of de excentrieke wijnboer. Een mooie bijkomstigheid, maar de inhoud telt. Bij de Wijnbeurs koopt u daarom altijd wijnen van goede kwaliteit. Wij verzekeren u dat er een bijzonder wijn in uw glas zit. We bezoeken wijnboeren en zoeken in hun kelder naar de meest interessante partijen wijn, proeven de wijn en beslissen of deze voldoen aan onze voorwaarden. Is hij bijzonder lekker en kunnen we deze voordelig aan u aanbieden? Ja? Dát zijn de wijnen die u bij ons kunt bestellen. De Wijnbeurs is opgericht in 1976 door de broers, Hans, Piet en Paul Walraven. Twee jaar later sloot Franz Lampe zich hierbij aan. Het idee was om rechtstreeks wijnen te importeren van de beste producenten voor particulieren, zonder tussenkomst van andere partijen. Voordat de wijn daadwerkelijk werd geïmporteerd werd er blind geproefd. Een rij glazen werd neergezet en geproefd op kwaliteit. Achteraf werd bekend gemaakt welke fles bij welk glas hoorde. Een succes! Zo wordt alleen de beste wijn geselecteerd en dat doen we nog steeds. De Wijnbeurs heeft met zijn directe en andere benadering de wijnmarkt opengebroken. Meer dan 100.000 liefhebbers zijn u voor gegaan en bestelden wijnen online. En nog steeds zijn wij onafgebroken op zoek naar interessante wijn, voor onwaarschijnlijk lage prijzen.
