Outstanding furniture design and quality craftsmanship. Heidi and Anders Wiinberg loves the long standing Danish tradition for outstanding furniture design and quality craftsmanship. They established Wiinberg as a family business in 2008 with the purpose of being able to share this passion with like-minded people in the entire world. The company started out producing the classic Lissau shelving system. Now the company is broadening its product portfolio by embracing young talented designers and their works. Our entire product range is produced in Denmark All our products have been developed in close collaboration between our designers and cabinetmakers, who share our love of wood and hign-end craftsmanship. Cabinetmakers in Denmark still rely on the experience of each worker to assess the structure and colour of each piece of wood to create beautiful and strong furniture. The cutting of the tree and milling of the details is done by machine. A large part of electricity in Denmark originate from wind turbines and the production of our Teve shelving units is CO2 neutral. After the raw parts of the furniture have been machined, the rest of the work is done by hand. Before the furniture is ready for the customer, it goes through a final quality check, sanding and oil or stain/laquer treatment. The furniture is dispatched from our distribution center to the stores. Every Wiinberg product is designed to be transported with a minimum of wasted space in the boxes. This does not only make our products competitive world wide, but also ensures a minimum impact on the environment.
