white|c Information

white_c is a spin-off company of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI). We make the world around you digitally useable: surveying and mapping, modeling and visualization, interaction and driving simulation. We are active in three industries: mobility, out-of-home media, and architecture. Our main product is Professional OpenDS, a driving simulation software based on the open-source project OpenDS. We create large-scale city models and high level of detail architectural models using 3D laser scanners. Furthermore, we conduct driving simulation studies for automotive (driver distraction, user experience) and out-of-home media (driver distraction, convergence). Our philosophy is compliance, convergence, conservation. The three terms are related to our competence areas: traffic safety, media impact analysis and optimization, 3D documentation of (mainly culturally significant) buildings.
