In March 2016, Whisper's Magical Children's Hospital opened in Jinja, treating around 1000 children each month. in 2018 Whisper moved to larger premises and opened a maternity department. We're saving lives at very low cost. Get involved by donating towards lab equipment or ask about volunteering opportunities for medical staff. In October 2011 we opened the first ever school in Kagoma Gate Village, one of the poorest villages in Jinja District. That school now has 150 pupils. We'd love to find a company or an individual to sponsor it; just £350 a month keeps the entire school running.
