BigBox3D is a brand new company jointly owned by E3D and LittleBox. E3D have been in the 3D printing market for over 3 years, designing one of the world's first and foremost all-metal HotEnds. E3D have also been instrumental in the progression of 3D printable materials and their range of Everyday PLA & ABS filament is rapidly becoming an industry standard with lots of work on support materials in the pipeline. E3D are UK based, and like most 3D printer companies, started in a shed. The have grown fast in this rapidly expanding market, pushing the boundaries of 3D printing. E3D is a globally recognised brand, standing for quality with no compromises, with a solid engineering backbone. The LittleBox Company began with the invention of the first commercially available desktop laser-diode laser-cutter & engraver. Originally designed as an entry into the 2013 Instructables Microcontroller contest the MicroSlice was developed for commercial release and pitched on Kickstarter where it smashed through its £30,000 funding goal in the first few days and by the end of the campaign had reached an astounding £100,000 in funding. Since the original kickstarter The LittleBox Company developed the MicroSlice v2, which has four times the workspace and a far more precise motion system. BigBox3D brings together David Lamb, Josh Rowley and Sanjay Mortimer from E3D and Greg Holloway from The LittleBox Company.
