Few can claim 17th century Renaissance Italy as the birthplace of their family start-up. Yet, nearly 400 years and nine generations later, D’Addario & Co. proudly continues to do so. Today, we are globally recognized as the world’s premier instrument accessory manufacturer for strings, drumheads, drumsticks, reeds, mouthpieces and more. Inspired by our past and paving a future path, D’Addario is fueled by an ever-expanding family of musicians, engineers, artists and visionaries driven by innovation and continuous improvement. Our charitable foundation also ensures that music education reaches underprivileged students around the globe. And with a genuine dedication to US manufacturing, environmentally sustainable practices, and a diverse family of passionate employees, what started in the Renaissance has become an ever-growing revolution.
