WFT Engineering, Inc. Information

WFT Engineering is an award-winning engineering design firm providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire life safety planning, design, commissioning, and construction administration services in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan region. Using our collective knowledge of MEP/Life Safety systems paired with an understanding of jurisdictionally adopted building code requirements, we provide exceptional engineering services for a wide variety of clients in all sectors of construction. Our firm typically design systems for over 1,000,000 sf of tenant interiors space each year, including many high end corporations and law firms; and most of this work is for repeat clients. Our project managers work with owners, architects, and designers to ensure efficient production of commercial documents, identify possible long lead time items required to support the team’s program, and spend time in the field to fully understand client needs and the relationship to building existing conditions. Our team of licensed professionals also provides custom-tailored program management, facility assessments, energy audits, due diligence studies, building system analysis, and value engineering services. WFT’s portfolio ranges from the smallest tenant fit-out to large law firms and corporate headquarters build-outs including firms such as World Bank, Hilton Worldwide and NASD.
