Wetland Specialists Information

We are a husband and wife wetland delineation team. Our names are John & Maria. We specialize in wetland boundary delineations and in helping you with the permit process if necessary. We can identify wetland vegetation, evaluate site hydrology, and identify hydric soil indicators. We research property records and aerial photographs to help determine past hydrology and land use. After determining the wetland boundaries, we can map the location of the wetland delineated boundaries and provide the needed report and maps for the permit processes. We can also provide you with alternatives for your project to help minimize any potential impacts on the wetlands. Currently, we have been involved with a non-profit organization which has a number of sites located in Central Wisconsin where the potential impacts on wetlands needed to be evaluated and wetland delineations completed. We have also conducted a number of consultations with private landowners. A list of our most recent activities can be found under the tab "Wetland Delineation Activities". In order to provide our clients with the highest quality of work and to keep abreast of current state and federal requirements, we have attended the following WI DNR, US Army Corps of Engineers and UW Continuing Education and Extension wetland delineation classes: "Basic Wetland Delineation Training", "Advanced Wetland Delineation Training", "Hydric Soil Identification for Wetland Delineations", "Basic Plant Identification", and "Critical Methods in Wetland Delineations". Maria is listed on the US Army Corps of Engineers, Wetland Consultants list for WI & MN. She is a member of the Wisconsin Wetland Association. John is a member of the Botanical Club of Wisconsin. Because a number of the counties in Central Wisconsin are located in the WI Karner Blue Butterfly Habitat High Potential Regulatory Range, we have both attended the 2012 Wisconsin Karner Blue Butterfly Habitat Conservation Level 1 & Level 2 Monitoring Training.
