Koppers Wood Products Pty Ltd (Koppers) supplies preservative treated timber utility poles, piles, and timber products servicing customers throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific islands and the Philippines. Koppers supply chain operations are supported by long term timber supply agreements with our major resource supply partners whilst demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable forest management.
Koppers treatment plant facilities are well positioned to provide the Australian electricity distribution and building construction industries with security of supply from extensive procurement operations spanning forest reserves on the east coast from the NSW south coast region through to Rockhampton, Queensland. Koppers operations in Tasmania include hardwood utility poles and piles, fencing and landscape pine log products. In Western Australia Koppers produces treated pine utility poles for the West Australian market, and custom timber treatment services for sawn timber producers servicing the treated timber and house framing markets.
Koppers treatment plant facilities are all ISO9001 and RC14001 certified and have Chain of Custody Management Systems which comply with AS4707.
