We are a family owned business located in Cheltenham, Victoria, specialising in the supply and installation of high quality custom-made window furnishings for your home or business. Founded in 1958 by Bernard Weinstein, a true pioneer of the local window furnishing scene, Perfect Blinds was built on the values for which Bernard was well known – honesty, reliability, quality & service. One of Bernard’s favourite sayings was, “If you look after your customers, your customers will look after you.” ...specialising in the supply and installation of high quality custom-made window furnishings for your home or business... Starting off in a small shopfront in Balaclava, Bernard and his wife Serena made 50mm Aluminium Venetian Blinds (which were highly fashionable in those days) for their local community. They eventually outgrew their shopfront and moved to a small factory in Gardenvale, where they also started manufacturing Holland Blinds which were quickly replacing Venetian Blinds as the more popular style of the time. Following Bernard’s retirement in the 1980’s, his son Imi succeeded him and oversaw the modernisation and commercialisation of the business. He further diversifyied the product range by adding Vertical Blinds, a style that became popular during the period. Imi seized an opportunity to purchase one of the first automated Aluminium Venetian Blind machines in Australia and returned Perfect Blinds to manufacturing Aluminium Venetian Blinds, although this time it was the 25mm Slimline and 16mm Micro varieties. Over the years we have continued to diversify and add to our product range, now boasting over 15 different window furnishing styles, ensuring our customers have the best opportunity to find the appropriate solution for their window
