Westley Farm Information

Five secluded Cotswold stone holiday cottages scattered over a 75 acre old-fashioned Cotswold hill farm overlooking the Golden Valley. The cottages are traditionally built with flagstone floors and log fires, furnished simply but generously. Children and dogs are welcome. We are well placed for exploring the lesser-known areas of the southern Cotswolds on foot or by car, with several pubs within walking distance. The picture postcard villages of Minchinhampton, Bisley and Sapperton are all 3 miles away. At Westley Farm we value our natural environment and manage the land sensitively to encourage wildlife habitats. We are currently working to re-introduce the Marsh Fritillary butterfly. You may see buzzards, badgers, foxes, deer as well as sheep and cattle from your windows. With a choice of good pubs within easy walking distance, space to dry any wet gear and a log fire to come home to, we are the perfect base for a holiday exploring the excellent walking on and around the farm. The legacy of the Golden Valley’s industrial past can be seen in the romantic overgrown canal, ivy-clad mill ruins and weavers’ cottages; some beautifully restored by the Arts & Crafts movement. These valleys still attract artists and craftsmen with thriving workshops, studios, micro-breweries and cheesemakers to visit or see their products at the award-winning local farmers markets.
