Oak Tree Surgery offers a full range of family planning and contraceptive services to all registered patients. Patients aged 35 and under can drop into the Family planning Clinic that runs every Wednesday afternoon from 3.30 - 6pm. This is a drop in service - no appointment is needed. The Clinic is run by a GP and practice nurses. If it is difficult for you to attend on a Wednesday please make a routine appointment with a GP to discuss contraception. The practice nurses can also provide pill repeats and contraceptive injections, but they will not be able to deal with any new contraception or any problems you maybe experiencing. Patients over 35 can book a routine appointment to discuss contraception with any of the GPs. Again the practice nurses can deal with long term contraception but will not be able to start any new contraception or deal with any problems.
