Western Regional CAC Information

Western Regional Children's Advocacy Center (WRCAC) provides training and technical assistance to Children's Advocacy Centers (CAC), Multidisciplinary Teams (MDT), and communities interested in improving their response to child abuse through use of a comprehensive trauma-informed multidisciplinary approach. WRCAC serves thirteen western states including Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Children's Advocacy Centers are child-friendly facilities that follow a national model that provide a trauma-informed community-based response to child abuse. Western Regional CAC is a program of Safe Passage Children's Advocacy Center and is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP).
