Western Region Football League Information

From Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown in the inner west to the rapidly expanding communities in Wyndham of Point Cook, Wyndhamvale, Tarneit and Werribee - Melbourne’s western suburbs are among the fastest growing region of Australia. Established in 1931, the Western Region Football League (WRFL) is the community-based provider of Australian football to these growing western suburbs. With over 8,000 players, 300 teams and covering 7 local government areas, the WRFL is a significant provider in the Victorian sporting landscape.
